INZOVU, RWANDA PEABERRY
Tasting Notes: fig, apricot, cantaloupe and orange with a syrupy body
Roasting Profile: Medium
About this coffee:
Inzovu means "Elephant" in Kinyarwanda, the official language of Rwanda where the coffee was grown. This coffee is a community blend of peaberry coffee - a natural mutation of the coffee bean inside the cherry. Normally coffee beans grow two to a fruit, but in about 5% of the world's coffee, one bean is produced. These beans are smaller, rounder (hence "pea" berry), denser and stand out during the processing much like seeing an elephant in the wild.
